Misano Adriatico (Italy) 08 July 2018
The Bardahl Evan Bros. Team and Randy Krummenacher have concluded the eighth race of the Supersport World Championship, crossing the line in fifth position at the Misano World Circuit.
Having qualified in third place, Randy lost a few positions off the line, positioning sixth by the end of the first lap. Holding on to sixth place through the initial stages, the Swiss rider moved up into fifth on lap eight. From there, he did his best to gain ground but unfortunately, unable to sustain the kind of pace needed to catch the riders in front of him, Krummenacher crossed the line in fifth position today.
In the general standings, Krummenacher is in third place with 116 points.
#RK21: “Today’s race was a bit of a disappointment because we didn’t reach the podium. It was similar to recent races, in that we were on the limit, trying to do everything to stick with the front guys but it’s just not possible. We have a test in Portimao next month and so we need to use that time to work on the suspension and the engine so that I have a better feeling and can push harder. We intend to work hard and be in a better position after the summer break.”
