THE FINAL ROUND OF THE FIM SUPERSPORT WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP: KRUMMENACHER WILL START FROM SECOND AS HE CHASES THE WORLD TITLE

Published at 25.10.2019

Doha (Qatar) 25 October 2019

As is now tradition, the Losail International Circuit in Qatar is the setting for the final round of the FIM Supersport world championship. The track, 5380 m in length and comprising 10 right-hand turns and 6 left-handers, will host the final race of the 2019 season tomorrow, at 6.15 pm local time, a race that will prove decisive in crowning the category’s world champion. Krummenacher will start from second on the grid, behind his team-mate, who is also his closest rival for the title. The Swiss rider is feeling relaxed and positive, boosted by his 8-point lead over Italian Caricasulo, which although not much, could make a difference in this final battle for the crown.

Randy Krummenacher has found the necessary grit and feeling with his bike and, despite the obvious tension, is able to remain focused and calm with just one goal: to run a good race and achieve his life’s dream.

#RK21: “I’m happy, I ran a good Superpole and have found good feeling with my bike once more. Tomorrow I will start second and, as always, will give it my all and continue to chase my dream all the way to the last metre of the last lap.”
